Jamie-lee is one of the most passionate performers on the music scene, living completely through her music.

She is exciting and engaging in her performances, who when on stage, plays with high spirit and haunting musicality.  She is a distinctive and innovative artist who is equally adept on both Violin and Viola. She is able to explore different sound worlds on both electric and acoustic instruments whilst playing a wide range of genres including everything from acoustic classical to electro-swing, deep house, R&B, pop and jazz. Her versatility lends a hand to working with high intensity audiences but is easily adaptable to more ambient settings. 

 

She performs around the UK and internationally, both as a soloist and with electric acts such as including; in venues including Eventim Apollo, The Box- Amsterdam, Faena Hotel Miami, Royal Ascot, BBC Radio 1, Maida Vale Studios, London Scala, Abbey Road studios, Cadogen Hall, Tate Britain, Tate Modern, Brixton O2 Academy,  Symphony Hall, Birmingham, Royal Albert Hall. Brighton Dome, as well as many other UK venues.

Since graduating she has already performed and recorded alongside a variety of recognised artists, including, Tinie Tempah, Camila Cabello, Mabel, Sam Way, Kamilla, SCHILLER, Tom Walker, Jake Bugg, Machine Gun Kelly, Raye, Don Broco and Jax Jones.

A B O U T

Originally from Brighton & Hove, Jamie-lee has been classically trained on the violin and viola receiving her degree at  Trinity Laban Conservatoire of music and dance under the tutelage of Nic Pendlebury and Roger Chase. 

She gained experience from a young age winning a place at the prestigious Roedean school, which afforded her the opportunity to begin performing.

Jamie-lee’s plays a 2012 Bronek Cison Viola, a 1850’s German Violin, and a 5 string electric 2015 Ted Brewer Vivo 2.
