Originally from Brighton & Hove, Jamie-lee won a place at the prestigious Roedean school, which afforded her the opportunity to begin performing from a young age. Under the tutelage of Nic Pendlebury and Roger Chase, she has been classically trained on the violin and viola and received her BA in music performance at Trinity Laban Conservatoire of Music and Dance.

She is a highly engaged artist whose on-stage presence has been described as, ‘high spirits with haunting musicality’. Well-versed and equally adept in both acoustic and electric instruments, Jamie-lee has a diverse repertoire from classical and electro-swing to deep house, R&B, pop and jazz.
